I sounds like either:
a) THere is a memory overlap problem.
b) The current implementation of from does not include varargs support.
(This is in the pop_command routine). This broke for me with OSF.
Possibly this may be losing for you as well... Diffs available
upon request if that is what turns out to be the problem.
