What were you trying to do?
[use edit menu of xess]
What's wrong:
[While all the other menus are normal size, the edit pull-down
menu keeps expanding by inserting space between the description of the
command and the key binding, such that it's now wider than the screen
and impossible to read the command descriptions.]
What should have happened:
[The edit menu, as with all the others, should be of a minimum
width to contain the information it presents.]
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
[I use twm; there are already known bugs in the interaction
between twm and xess, such as the "xess cell won't let go of the
keyboard typing, unless you iconify the window" - switching to mwm
with the same xess sheet doesn't fix the problem with the edit menu.]
