So that the user may just type
mount /cdrom
to achieve utter bliss :-)
Utter bliss? But you have to become root. The ideal would be
attach sparc5cd
which would work even if you're not root. I have something similar set
up on my HP with a line in /etc/athena/attach.conf -
filesystem cdrom UFS /dev/dsk/3s0 r /cdrom
I don't know if attach would have to be modified to handle those weird
Solaris fs types.
