I just attempted to submit a bug report using on this machine,
hodge-podge.mit.edu, in the SIPB office, using ``sendbug'', typed
at the Bourne shell prompt. ``which sendbug'', which reported
/usr/athena/bin/sendbug. THis implies a bug in the athena sendbug
(perhaps it's reading an invalid configuration file? I was reporting
a bug that broke my dotfiles, and so...), as mail logs indicated
that my mail was sent to 4bsd-bugs@BERKELY (no terminal dot).
That implies that delivery is being attempted to 4bsd-bugs@berkely.mit.edu,
which does not appear to run a daemon on port 25. (It also unfortunately
seems to be an AIX box, a rather sad thing, given its name).
I really do wonder how this is broken, but it is far from clear
to me, particularly because stringsing sendbug yields bugs@MIT.EDU.
Perhaps podge is doing something odd with mail, or ????.
