What were you trying to do?
Send an email message from admin-techinfo with myself listed as the
sender. (Some mail clients don't respect Reply-to:)
What's wrong:
Although I was not root, no Sender: line was inserted by
sendmail, even though the From address was clearly not me.
What should have happened:
There should be a header - Sender: brlewis@MIT.EDU
I'm pretty sure I remember this happening in some previous
release.
