System name: whirlwind
Type and version:	SPARC/Classic 7.7K
Display type: cgthree

What were you trying to do?
Print a document to a postscript file

What's wrong:

I receive an error message from FrameMaker (echoed to the
xterm):

  athena[37]% fmprintdr.ps: Using /mit/frame/sun4release/fminit
  fmprintdr.ps: Internal error 9 in version 4.
Please contact Technical Support and describe
the actions leading up to this error.

In looking at the file written, FrameMaker generated the first
pass on the output, but didn't do the second pass that converts
it into PostScript. I tried using the same document on a SparcClassic
and it prints out just fine. It doesn't seem to matter if the file
is on the local hard drive or if it is stored somewhere in AFS.
It doesn't seem to matter if I print to a file or directly to
a printer. The choice of name for the output file doesn't seem
to matter. I have lots of available quota, so it isn't a case of
running out of diskspace while generating the output file. It looks
like some problem specific to Sparc5.

The file isn't very big (3 pages). A copy of it is available as
/mit/reidmp/Public/intro.doc. The output is named intro.ps, stored
in the same location.

What should have happened:
	The file should have printed.
