What were you trying to do?
Login to a workstation with the option "Ignore your
customizations," so as to avoid having zephyr announce my login.
What's wrong:
My .zephyr.vars consists of the line
exposure = net-announced
To avoid having it send out zephyrs announcing my
login, I tried selecting "Ignore your customizations,"
but it did not ignore this customization, and
sent them out anyway.
What should have happened:
Since Zephyr is started up by the login procedure,
before the user ever has an opportunity to control anything,
it is important that any customizations made to it, in
.zephyr.vars, .zephyr.subs, .zwgc.desc, or whatever,
all be ignored on login with the "Ignore your customizations"
option. Not only might someone have occasion to ignore
these customizations, but in the event that something
was fatally wrong with them, they could be unable to login
to correct them.
