I gather that vsg-114 is a fairly large font... I was experimenting
with an xterm in that font, and tried resizing it. It disappeared,
but xwininfo shows it as off in space:
xwininfo ==> Window id: 0xa0000e (sh)
==> Upper left X: 14208
==> Upper left Y: 2113
==> Width: 949
==> Height: 676
==> Depth: 1
==> Border width: 1
==> Window class: InputOutput
==> Window Map State: IsViewable
==> Corners: +14208+2113 --14135+2113 --14135--2023 +14208--2023
Note the X coordinate of the upper left corner... my root window is
only 768 high, I certainly couldn't have indicated 14208 with my
mouse.... A window out there doesn't do me much good.
