I downloaded Techmail from net-dist last week, and I can not get it to send
messages (I am sending this from Athena). I can check, get, and read mail
fine, but after I compose email, when I click on the "Send" button, I get an
error message. The tile bar of the error window says "SMTP Send DLL", and the
box says "500 command unrecognized". I called Network Support last week, and
whoever I talked to had no idea what the problem was. I tried re-downloading
all the files, but it still doesn't work. I would appreciate any suggestions
or assistance.
