System name: marinara
Type and version:	KN02ca 7.7G (1 update(s) to same version)
Display type:

What were you trying to do?
	Get email.

What's wrong:
	"It's gone!"

My RMAIL file was huge. I admit it; it was at about 1008,
and it was so big that I was hitting quota. But I pruned it slightly,
and then tried to get my new mail.
Well, as I tried to g(et) the email, RMAIL said, "Saving file
....(etc)". I was talking to someone, and when I looked back, it
turned out my connection to marinara had been closed. So I logged
back in and did "emacs -e rmail" like I always do. And then it popped
up with the new email ... and said it was 1/1 (ie, the first and ONLY
message in my previously 1008-message RMAIL file).
I looked in my Private dir and found that I had

-rw------- 1 rei 1152 Nov 11 16:46 RMAIL
-rw------- 1 rei 0 Nov 11 16:46 RMAIL~

(No # files, no useful ~ files)
dkk said that marinara had just crashed, but that's
hardly a reason for the RMAIL to just vanish....
(I'm restoring from OldStuff, but I did lose a couple
pieces of mail I was intending to archive).
