What were you trying to do?
move windows, iconify windows
What's wrong:
the top bar menu didn't come down, the iconify & maximize buttons
didn't work, the background menus didn't come up, Alt-f# didn't
produce said desired responses, in short it froze, not allowing
window movement, resize, etc.
What should have happened:
see manpage
quitting and restarting mwm didn't help. i'm running twm now.
at the time i was running only matlab, 2 xterms, and
desktop items (xclock, etc.)
i could create windows (new xterm, etc.) but once i placed
them, they could not be moved. exitting out of them
was no problem.
