What were you trying to do?
I was using Xess and trying to print a graph.
What's wrong:
My screen suddenly became strange. The Xess
windows would not be updated, and when I tried to click on
anything related to Xess, it was frozen. However,
I could make Xess windows come to the "front" of my screen,
but not do anything *with* them.
What should have happened:
My graph did get printed, but my screen should not
have been screwed up in this way. I couldn't exit from
Xess and I didn't know what to do, so I killed that process.
Things seemed to be okay after that. I restarted
Xess, printed graphs and was okay.
