Hi!

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with Tecplot. The problem that you
described is, in fact, a rather annoying feature of tecplot. Here is
some information which may help you out:

Tecplot's user interface is not very intuitive. It takes awhile to get
  used to using it.

When you start Tecplot, it will "grab" the mouse, so that you won't be
able to manipulate any of your other windows. You can get your mouse
back from Tecplot by pressing the middle mouse button. You can return
to Tecplot by placing the mouse in the Tecplot window and clicking any
  mouse button.

Also, have you picked up a copy of Tecplot on Athena? You can get a
copy from the Graphics Arts Quick Copy Center in the basement of the
Student Center.
