What were you trying to do?
I was trying to view a latexed document with xdvi.
What's wrong:
On the Suns and the DECs, I get the following error message:
Can't find font rptmr.
Character(s) will be left blank.till some problems with x
Can't find font rptmb.
Character(s) will be left blank
And I cannot see anything.....
On the IBMs, I get the following message:
Can't find font rptmr; using cmr10 instead at 720 dpi
Can't find font rptmb; using cmr10 instead at 720 dpi
Character 174 not defined in font cmr10
Character 174 not defined in font cmr10
But I can see some stuff on the screen, though it's a little distorted. The document looks fine when printed out....
What should have happened:
I should see on the screen exactly what I would get on print out. xdvi used to work last term without any problems.....
