What were you trying to do?

Use cp -p to preserve various file properties while copying
	into AFS.

What's wrong:

It doesn't preserve owner. I checked this on Sun and DECstation,
and I checked in the athena and rel-eng cells.

What should have happened:

cp -p probably ought to preserve owner. I nearly ended up with
a setuid cfields.root attach binary on the packs.

cp -p preserves owner on local disk for both Sun and DECstation.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:

	cp(1)
