Get my sun to boot and start syslogd succesfully, but that's another

What went wrong?
Well, snmpd syslogged a couple of things.
Aug 24 15:49:16 the-other-woman snmpd[391]: unknown group "operator".
Aug 24 15:49:17 the-other-woman snmpd[391]: _boottime not in namelist.
What should have happened?
Snmpd shouldn't have logged those.
Yo, got any documentation, or other info?
Yeah the "boottime..." message seems to show up randomly, especially
around when someone logs in or out.
