What were you trying to do?
I used "telnet" from a Mac in the Sloan lab to telnet to
athena and send some e-mail.
What's wrong:
For some reason, when using telnet it didn't use my aliases file.
It added "@mit.edu" to all the receivers instead of using the aliases
I have set up in my Mail/aliases file. This does not happen when I
am logged in directly to an Athena terminal.
What should have happened:
It should have properly read my .mh_profile and aliases file rather
than assuming everybody was at mit.edu. That's what it does normally,
just not when I telnet in from a Mac or PC.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
I presume the aliases file is described in the mh documentation.
