I haven't tried this on a non-layered-athena 7.7 decstation.
At the "what now?" prompt after doing comp, you're supposed to be
able to type "whom" to see who the message will go to and to check
deliverability.
On this machine, though the following happens:
What now? whom
unable to exec /usr/athena/bin/whom: No such file or directory
What now? ?
Options are:
display [<switches>]
edit [<editor> <switches>]
list [<switches>]
push [<switches>]
quit [-delete]
refile [<switches>] +folder
send [<switches>]
whom [<switches>]
What now? whom
unable to exec /usr/athena/bin/whom: No such file or directory
unca-donald /afs/athena.mit.edu/user/c/a/carla 3:15am :-) ls -l /usr/athena/bin/w*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root wheel 28 Aug 22 14:41 /usr/athena/bin/whatnow@ -> /srvd/usr/athena/bin/whatnow
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root wheel 26 Aug 22 14:41 /usr/athena/bin/write@ ->
/srvd/usr/athena/bin/write
Thanks,
