I ran "blanche -v wif -file (filename)" to update the membership of
a mailing list named wif. blanche couldn't get the list membership
(late at night; updates in progress) so it apparently decided the
list was empty and attempted to add everyone in the file. Here is
the top of the output:
blanche: the database is busy; try again later getting members of list wif
Adding member jfc
blanche: Record already exists while adding member jfc to wif
blanche should have failed immediately when it couldn't get the list
membership.
I am on cacciatore, a 7.6G DECstation dialup, running /usr/athena/bin/blanche.
