System name: cartoon
Type and version:	KN02ca 7.7C (1 update(s) to same version)
Display type: PMAG-DV

What were you trying to do?
Trying to see the top cpu processes

What's wrong:
top always says there are around 200 starting processes. I haven't
noticed any performance problems though. e.g:

last pid: 24470; load averages: 0.01, 0.00, 0.00 14:19:15
279 processes: 39 sleeping, 1 running, 238 starting, 1 stopped
Cpu states: 4.5% user, 0.0% nice, 5.6% system, 89.9% idle
Memory: Real: 6524K/16052K act/tot Virtual: 11480K/31272K act/tot Free: 1124K

What should have happened:
	I checked on a 7.6 decmips(hal-2000) and there aren't starting
processes all the time. 7.7 decmips(terak-nor) DOES seem to
	have them though.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
	man top?
