backspace in emacs
What's wrong:
Emacs says
C-h (Type ? for further options)
What should have happened:
It should have deleted the previous character in the window
Additional info: My backspace is not customized in any way. In order
to test this further, I logged paco into this same machine. paco is the
Consulting test account which has no customizations. The backspace
key worked in the same manner for paco as it did for my account.
In addition, when paco tries to log into this workstation the error
12:20 just after XtIsRealized
12:20 Just after call ChangeManaged
about 10 times in the console window before completeing what appears to
be a normal login (meaning that everything seems to work fine after the
log in is complete).
