twm and pageview don't get along, but mwm DOES.

VERY STRANGE!
I had the problem that pageview would come up with a BLACK window when I
tried to view a postscript image.
No problem you say -- run docview. Oral tradition had it that pageview
did not work under 2.3. (wrong, but I'll get to that)
docview can't run unless you xhost to yourself explicitly (xhost
+hanta-yo) because of a tooltalk bug. (This will be fixed in a
subsequent release.)
docview comes up with all colors WHITE.
So we run imagetool.
Imagetool can't run because it can't find the imaging library.
(Secret: add /srvd/opt/SUNWits/Graphics-sw/xil/lib to your LD_LIBRARY_PATH)
Imagetool ALSO comes up all white.
If you happen to run mwm, or olwm, something, we're not sure what yet,
gets initialized. Thereafter pageview works just fine. Even under twm!
