What were you trying to do?
Well, I wasn't really trying to do anything. But here's the
situation. A couple of weeks ago a created a list by the name of
"dms". As it turns out, however, there is already a user in moira,
with the status of "Enrolled/Registerable", or status 5, who has the
username "dms". The owner of the list dms has sent mail to us
explaining that now the user "dms" is receiving all the mail that is
inteneded for the list, dms.
What's wrong:
A listname was created when it was already taken as a username
What should have happened:
When you go to setup a list in moira, it will tell you if the name is
already in use. Since the "dms" mixup occurred, I guess it doesn't
chack to see if a username is taken by that name. Could checking
feature be added in moira s to prevent this from happening again?
