Hello,
I have been looking at your bug report. We have had various software
problems with milanese before and it is very likely due to the very
heavy load on it. I don't think the problem is with S+ and since these
problems are generally not reproducible I don't think there is much
we can do about it.
It's not a good idea to run X over dialup now as milanese is the only
machine available. Expanded X dialup may become more feasible in the
future as a project is currently underway to set up such a service.
I would suggest working on a "regular" Athena machine. If the same problem
shows up there and is reproducible, I will be glad to report it to the
vendor. Please let me know if this is the case.
