What's wrong:
While resizing an xclock several times (mostly keeping it small,
between 10 and 40 pixels, trying to use it as an `xruler' to measure a
pixel height on the screen...) the X server dumped core. You can find
a copy of the server and core dump in eichin/cores/* (the only things
in there.) The last thing it seems to have done is paint the inside of
the (reversevideo analog) xclock white; the mouse pointer stayed in
the `mouse with left button down' shape. On re-activating the
workstation, the mouse was wedged, and wouldn't move or click,
requiring a reboot to free it.
What should have happened:
X servers shouldn't dump core on something this simple...
