If you exit the application while the "POP3 GetMail Protocol" dialog
box is up (the one that says "No messages."), you get a General Protection
Fault. Most applications lock out other controls while a message dialog
box is displayed. It's too easy to click somewhere else in the TechMail
window and put the dialog box behind another window.
