I am the Housemaster at New House. A couple of days ago I attached
to the network my Laptop in my apartment via RESNET. The RESNET
consultant (Mike Ford) may have already reported my problems:
Everything works fine except for Techmail and Leash which both give
General Protection Faults. In Techmail I can receive mail but it
crashes as soon as I hit the "SEND" button. I have run the Dr. Watson
diagnostic and can make the log available to you.
My configuration is Toshiba 1850 laptop with 8Mb RAM, (25MHz 386-SX
with co-processor), Sillicom Ethernet parallel port adapter, Windows
3.1 with Norton Desktop 2.1. I use 4DOS 5.0 as command.com. I have
plenty of environment space.
I would be happy to make the machine available for debugging if
necessary. As far as I know it is set up ok.
