After using this ioctl, under some circumstances, output may not
return to the true console, resulting in "I/O error" messages from
syslog and such. The particular circumstance I'm in is running
grabcons (from jtkohl, I think, it applies the TIOCCONS ioctl to
stdin) in a login "xterm -C" window; after I log out, there's no
console output. Echoing input works okay, as does ^T to a shell, but
output is lost. Could be the double TIOCCONS breaks things?
