What were you trying to do?
Run Framemaker on athena-x.dialup.mit.edu and project it on my remote
X-terminal, drie.lcs.mit.edu. (I tried setting my DISPLAY variable to
drie.lcs.mit.edu:0.0 and drie.lcs.mit.edu:0, but both do not work.)
What's wrong:
Framemaker will not run. I don't even get the opening window (New, Open,
etc.) An Athena consultant tried to run Framemaker on my display, but
this crashed my X-server and logged me out.
What should have happened:
Framemaker should have run with no problems.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
My Tektronix X-terminal is hooked up to a Sun Sparc 10, amsterdam.lcs.mit.edu.
