Hi!
I have noticed that the behavior of the Athena shell does not match
the man-page I get for tcsh. I know that Athena claims to be running
tcsh, but I think that the problem is that the Athena version of tcsh
is very OLD and does not at all behave according to the man-page I get
(true; I might be getting some other man-page than the default Athena
one; I have added sipb).
I suggest upgrading the version of the Athena tcsh. I just used the
chsh program to change my default shell to /afs/sipb/bin/tcsh, but I
fear that this shell might interfere with the complicated Athena login
sequence, and it would be better if Athena upgraded tcsh.
