OOPS! I forgot to tell you how to work around the problem!
The exact problem is that the code in EZ to read in foreign characters in
formatted text was written in such a way that the C compiler on ONLY the Sun
did the wrong thing.
You can use any other kind of Athena machine for editing formatted documents
with foreign characters. You can CREATE NEW documents with formatting and
foreign characters on the Suns.
If you are stuck and must use a sun, just delete the dodo, and re-enter the
foreign characters. The code that WRITES foreign characters works fine on all
platforms.
