Type and version: SPARC/Classic 7.6Q
Display type: cgthree
What were you trying to do?
athena% setup wcl
Then, in the xterm that appears
wcl% cd /mit/wcl/app-defaults
wcl% Mri -rf Mri/Demo &
What's wrong:
Often, if you click/release where it says "Hello", causing the
menu to pop up, and then click/drag from inside the menu to outside, the
mouse is grabbed and nothing will release it. On the sun, it sometimes
takes as many as 5 tries to get the bug to show itself, although it
usually shows up in 1-3 tries. I haven't been able to reproduce the bug
on decmips or rsaix.
When reproducing this bug, it's helpful to start an xterm on
another display so that you can kill the Mri process without rebooting.
What should have happened:
Motif should always let go of the mouse when you drag outside
the menu.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
I just want to note that Wcl does not do anything that might
interfere with Motif's grab behavior. Wcl is widget-set independent.
