Fonts problems in using templates in 'thesis' in athena

Hi,
I used propcover.tex provided is athena ('thesis') to make my own thesis
proposal, but the Latex compilation always replied that cannot find the fonts I
wanted. Although it can pass the compilation, the printout was not in good
shapes. Could you please check those templates (everyone in 'thesis') and make
necessary corrections. Thank you very much.
This is what had been tried before recompiling each time:
athena% dvips -o filename.ps filename
athena% dxpsview filename.ps
athena%setenv TEXPKS /mit/outland/lib/tex/fonts/pk:/mit/sipb/lib/tex/fonts/pk:/usr/athena/lib/tex/fon
ts
athena%attach texfonts
Nothing has changed at all.
