What's wrong:
The best way to describe this problem is to describe how to
duplicate it....
While logged into a VAXstation with uwm running, open an xterm
and try to position it at the very top of the screen, centered
between the left and right sides of the screen. You will
discover that when you click the left button, the window will
actually be positioned one pixel *below* the very top of the
screen.
Now, open up another xterm, but this time, try to place it in the
very upper left corner of the screen. This time, the window will
be at the very top of the screen -- no pixel space between it and
the top!
In fact, the *only* place you will be able to open the window
touching the top of the screen is in the upper left corner.
This problem does not occur on the RT.
This problem is pretty easy to duplicate, but if anybody wants a
demo, I'll be glad to oblige.
What should have happened:
You should be able to position the window at the top of the
screen anywhere, not just in the upper left corner.
