I am sorry it has taken so long to look into your bug.
I have been out for surgery, and am only just now catching up.
I created a file, foo.ez consisting soley of the text
foo--bar
I then processed it for printing and the resulting output had the dashes
present.
This means that the problem is more complex than just having a long dash
expressed as double dashes.
Do you still have the file that failed?
Can you put it in your Public directory so I can see it and email me
the name of the file?
