System name: m16-034-23
Type and version:	SPARC/Classic 7.6P
Display type: cgthree

What were you trying to do?
I just logged in.

What's wrong:
There were three windows running that I didn't start - xeyes, xlogo, and oclock. They were owned by a user named hoyt, who I believe used the workstation before me. Other processes owned by him were also running.

What should have happened:
They shouldn't have been running.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
I spoke with consultant iggy extensively about this. I was worried because I had previously tried to log in to workstation 66-080-17, and I got this strange message about "Login procedure incorrect. Notify Athena operations." (not exact wording). I was worried that maybe someone stole my password with a fake login program, and then was screwing with my account. I was told not to worry, and that this was a reported sparc bug. I hope this is the end of it.
