Hi there...
The only thing I can really think of that you might be interested in
that we have are some World Wide Web clients. For the program `help'
in particular, and `dash', which it sounds like you may be talking
about, you'll need to talk to Athena. I've forwarded your mail to
`bugs@mit.edu', which isn't great as a request list, but should do, at
least for now. (I suspect that they will find a personal contact of
some sort for you.)
Hi,
I'm an MIT alum, and remember using a great "help" system on Athena
which organized the various resources which were available,
providing access and documentation to them.
I'd like to setup something similar for a new system that I'm on,
and was wondering whether any of the software was in the public
domain, of if you could give me advice where I might be able to find
such software... (that would provide access and help to various
utilities such as email, archie, gopher, wais, games, etc... for
naive users)
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave Miller.
