From: yandros@MIT.EDU Date: Mon, 15 Nov 93 09:17:38 EST To: mlbarrow@MIT.EDU Cc: watchmakers@MIT.EDU, bugs@MIT.EDU, sparc@MIT.EDU In-Reply-To: <9311151326.AA19490@MIT.EDU> (mlbarrow@MIT.EDU) problem time... From: mlbarrow@MIT.EDU I just compiled the sun4c_41x/sun4m_41x version of the new iscreen (v3.5.2). Could someone with write access put it in the watchmaker locker? It's /mit/mlbarrow/screen.sun4c_41x. I'm assuming that the one in the watchmaker locker was compiled under sun4c_51/sun4m_51. Regardless, my sun4c_41x machine doesn't like it! BTW, was this the case before? Yes, all new sun4bin binaries are built under solaris, since that's the supported platform, and will not run under SunOS. The decidion that came down when the complaints about overloading `sun4bin' this way was that DCNS would come up with some other name for SunOS binaries, since the `sun4bin' name was alrady out there. It looks like it's time to come up with a new name. :-/ chad
