You reported a bug where session_gate always runs csh on your .logout
file, even if your login shell is not csh.
After some discussion, we've come to the conclusion that we should not
change the current behavior end_session with regard to this file. The
file originated with csh and is inherently someone tty oriented. I
will add to the wish list an end_session script to be run at logout
time which would be more flexible. I do not know when this might be
implemented.
