The information you provided was a good start. Now, please tell us
what kind of workstation you are using (VAX or RT),
what software release are you using (5.5T, 6.0A), and
(if you're using a 5.? release) where did you get your zcheckmail
from?
Also, the next time you notice this happening, please do a "ps agux"
and insure that there aren't multiple zcheckmails running.
