(This problem also occurred when I tried the same thing on an RS 6000 in
the m2-225 cluster yesterday.)

What were you trying to do?
	Use "Sequence/Pick".

What's wrong:
Using "Sequence" and then "Pick" created a file ~/inbox/.mh_sequences.
All mh commands I tried afterwards (rmm, scan, show, pick, prev, next)
returned errors.

athena% scan
scan: /afs/athena.mit.edu/user/g/p/gptesler/Mail/inbox/.mh_sequences is poorly formatted
athena% show
show: /afs/athena.mit.edu/user/g/p/gptesler/Mail/inbox/.mh_sequences is poorly formatted
...

xmh produced similar errors, enclosed in dialogue boxes. I had
been deleting lots of messages in a picked sequence, and when I pressed
"commit" to execute the deletions, I got errors like the above for "rmm",
and no messages were deleted.
Removing .mh_sequences allows the various commands to work again.
Here is .mh_sequences, long line and all.
