Hi.
The database that demonstrates the bug is world-readable, and it lives in
/mit/bert/Class/JuniorLab/sb-bug-demo.xs
The file was generated by inserting the correct values into the file
by hand, because the bug causes XESS to save graph information incorrectly.
How to reproduce the bug:
1. Open the database in xess.
2. Select the last graph from the "Graph" menu (the one called "P/T**4
(all, w/o lows)"). The graph shows up.
3. On graph, select "Characteristics->Y Axis".
Notice "Min,Max" field is set to "8e-14,1.2e-13".
4. Save the database on disk and open the saved file.
5. Select the same graph as before. The graph shows up, but the
Y-axis range is totally wrong.
6. On graph, select "Characteristics->Y Axis".
Notice "Min,Max" field is now set to "0,0".
(Sorry for the long response time, but the pathname might point out one
of the reasons why I haven't responded in a more timely fashion.)
