What were you trying to do?
I have a line in my .startup.X file which is supposed to
create a background using a picture I have in my account.
Here is the line from my .startup.X:
xv -max -root ~/images/gal &
This line has worked properly, without fail, for several
months.
What's wrong:
I recieved on error in my console saying (approximately):
Bad Window
Major opcode: 20
(The 20 is definitely correct.)
What should have happened:
The file ~/images/gal should have become the background.
