What were you trying to do?
Plot a Autocad drawing, with the command 'plot'.
What's wrong:
Error-Notice: "Cannot initialize any configured plot device."
What should have happened:
I used autocad frequently in the last one or two weeks, both on sun
and decstations. (I used it last on Sep. 13, but I'm not sure whether
that was on a sun or dec.) There used to pop up a window, where I
could make all kinds of settings, ie. whether I wanted color or
black-and-white Postscript output, or what linewidths should be
assigned to the autocad-layers. Autocad would produce a
Postscript-file with the extension ".plt" (by default).
I checked whether the problem has something to do with the dotfile
(.acad_sunv12.cfg) that autocad produced in my homedirectory (by
renaming this file): it has not. Also, it happens with an old drawing
as well as with a new one.
I still can produce a PS-file with 'psout', but these command lacks
the features mentioned above, and I do not want to go into editing the
Postscript-file to get out the color and get in the linewidths.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
The drawing I used is acad/plat1.dwg, relative to my home-directory.
