What were you trying to do?
Run remote X clients on the local X server. I was properly
Xhosted and everything.
What's wrong:
It says that the display can't be opened. I noticed that
/etc/services is conspicously missing port 6000 for X client
connections to the local server.
What should have happened:
I would get my X apps, and /etc/services would be the same as
every other athena workstation.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
No references. I have experienced this problem in the past
and never got a reasonable explaination for why it still remains. I
hope that there is a reason why I can do this on color RS6000's and
not on greyscale.
