Apparently, several workstations in the public clusters are suffering
from the same "Killed" problem that afflicted the VAXen a while back.
Cause:
The cause is due to incorrect freeing of sticky-bit'd programs during
the unmounting of the filesystems.
Fix:
Patch sys/vm_text.c in the same way that 'wesommer' did on the VAX side.
I have done this in my private set of sources and am now awaiting
approval to apply this patch to the RT 6.0R sources [I hope it is
considered a big enough bug to warrant fixing now; anything that causes
this much confusion to the user and hinders their work to a great
extent, I hope will be considered as such].
