These never seem to survive updates. Symptoms are I can't ftp into my
machine (I use the sipb tcsh and have to add it manually to the
/etc/shells file -- update must restore the default file) and my idle
display is missing the stuff I added in motd2.
Obviously not show stoppers, but fyi...
