Hi there,
The problem you are experiencing is not really a problem to the extent
that you have reported it. As the release notes for the Sun (I
recommend that you pick up a copy from 11-115) and the OLC stock
answers state:
The recommended C compiler at this time is "gcc". There is no command
"cc", and the recommended syntax for "gcc" is:
/usr/gcc/bin/gcc -traditional -B/usr/gcc/lib -DSOLARIS
-I/usr/gcc/include file.c
If your application requires ANSI C, eliminate the flag "-traditional".
----------------
There is also a Sun compiler available by typing:
add sunsoft
suncc file.c
I hope this information helps. If you have additional questions or
problems, feel free to ask a question about it in "olc". Thanks.
