When it gets an error, after printing the error message, it proceeds
to print a success message also:
Toto>spinup 7 aggie rtinstall r
spinup: Timeout.
pack rtinstall at server agamemnon on drive 7 in read-only mode.

This behavior is very misleading. It really did get a timeout and
didn't spinup anything. But when it prints the success message, it's
very easy to miss the error message. This happens on both RT's and
VS2's running 6.0a.
