I was trying to use curses on the decstation.  I'm not having a lot of
luck. :-(  

One of the major problems I'm having is that the manpage for curses
(that is, curses(3x)) claims to have the functions crmode, noecho,
echo, and scrollok, but they aren't in /usr/lib/libcurses.a.
